Over the past twenty-plus years, Neeley Spotts has held a variety of jobs in the graphic design field, but she has never let go of her first loves—drawing and painting. When the entertainment weekly where she worked as a production designer was bought and subsequently shut down by an international news conglomerate, this served as the catalyst she needed to abandon her tedious daily commutes and pursue her dream of starting her own business.
Founded in 1998, her home-based company, Inkspotts Creative, seamlessly combines her many talents, offering services such as freelance graphic design, illustration, and custom hand-painted artwork. Her diverse client list includes an internationally-recognized horse trainer and an industry-leading medical educational publisher, but it is the young start-up companies she works with who really inspire her and appeal to her own entrepreneurial spirit.
